To reach the final the B Team had fought of opposition from Hawkshead, Burton-in-Lonsdale, and our own Heversham A Team. Unfortunately the run of success did not extend to the final match of the Trophy when the B Team, despite giving of their best, lost 5 – 1 to Springfield. Springfield also won the aggregate by 110 – 76 giving them a 6 – 1 win. Many thanks to all those who played for the team in the various heats and to the supporters who turned up on the night.

The B Team was well supported by members of their club.
The Big Bowls Weekend took place on Sunday 29th May. Club members came along and six visitors came to see what it was all about. A great time was had by everyone. It wasn’t all about bowling though; the refreshments and friendship were equally good.
